Recycling Guidance

Delivery box: This is made from unprinted cardboard and can be recycled with your usual cardboard waste.

Wool liners: At the moment wool is not widely accepted within normal recycling as part of your household collection, however there are lots of ways that it can be recycled around the house and garden as it is totally compostable and biodegradable. If you can’t find a way to reuse your liner, cut the top of the bag and dispose of the wool in normal waste and recycle the plastic bag outer in your normal recycling.

Ice packs: Our ice packs are made from a non toxic polymer gel. These ice packs are non-toxic & completely food safe, the gel is mixed with water and although they aren't biodegradable they are 100% recyclable - if you want to dispose of them, simply cut the corner of the pack and dispose of the contents through the normal domestic waste system. The contents are benign, given the dilution of the polymer and purification of the water they are not at all harmful to the environment. The outer film is totally recyclable as LDPE 4.

Food containers: Our food trays and pots are made from sugarcane - if clean they can be recycled with any normal cardboard. If dirty, rinse and home-compost, or pop in your general rubbish bin where it will biodegrade within a few months.

Belly bands: Our belly bands are printed with vegetable ink on FSC board which is compostable and recyclable therefore can be put in normal recycling or with general waste where it will biodegrade within a few months.

Leaflets and booklets: These can be recycled as usual with normal household recycling.
