Fluffy basmati rice cooked with saffron.

In Persian households rice is a staple with every meal, served with khoresh (stew), kabab and even in sweet desserts. This simple rice dish goes with everything and is washed and steamed to make it extra fluffy.

Cooking instructions

1. Microwave for 4 minutes on 800 watt
2. Take out of microwave and stir through
3. Return to microwave and heat for a further 2 minutes

1. Pre-heat oven to 200°C / 180°C fan / gas mark 4
2. Remove sleeve and heat in centre of oven for 30-35 mins
3. Take out of oven and stir
